Awhile ago a bunch of us were in California. Some went to escape winter, I went to advance my obviously budding career in skate videotaping. Upon my return I immediately hit the editing table... hard. A few unproductive months later I give you two internet clips. These videos feature John McGuire, Danny Stemper, Erik Switzer, Kyle Herman, and TJ Bohach. Also some big name cameos from Kyle Leeper... dribbling a ball for about a fourth of a second.





I'll probably have these up on Youtube in a few days for those of you who enjoy the instant gratification of not waiting a whole four minutes for them to load.

With one day before a glorious snow fall, Switzer, Kyle, Risser, Jed, Patrick, Mikey, TJ and I all headed out to get some tricks and along the way met some random people.

With all of this nice weather we have been having I was able to get out last weekend and Friday and shoot some photos.

Risser definitly earned his keep for the day by filming just about every trick that went down and then some

Douglas Bubbletrousers here again,

Today is the next installment of our trip, this day we took our journey to a newly blacktopped spot, this was an existing spot, but the options of tricks were greatly opened by this new asphalt.



Kyle and Shane cruising down a hill, coming back from their search for.... not really sure actually, maybe more stuff to skate, who knows.


T.J. is the only one who really got any tricks at this spot, CROOKED GRIND the straight off rail of doom, with the uphill landing. Pretty gnarly.


This on didn't come easy though, it was at the end of a pretty sweet line, and he took a pretty burly fall in the line and wrecked his hand for pretty much the rest of the trip.


Dr. Bold I believe is a soda that Kyle picked up when he was in California. HE LOVES IT!


T.J. started off the trip with some white suede shoes, but they eventually got a face lift and became black suede shoes, which after some skating led to grey suede shoes, and when they had no laces they were zebra suede shoes.

There was a baseball team having some kind of practice, where they were running through this area, and as each one passed, we heckled them to try and jump the can, I would say about 8 passed and 1 jumped, and he ruled!!


The University Of Tuscaloosa hired Gary Coleman as one of their officers, he was not a cool guy.


Kyle convinced this group of college students to allow him in their game of ?volleyball?, I don't know if you would consider it volleyball because there was no net, but I guess they just used their imagination.


Don't remember if I posted any of the other puppy photos of the trip, but there was an abundance of puppies on this trip, which made us all very happy. Because puppies are.. "cute*"!!


This trip was also full of texting!! Which I think might be up to par with baseball on America's favorite pastimes.


This time though I think the phone got the best of him, T.J. no longer has a soul, owned by the gods of phones!!

Here I am again,

This post is only pictures from one spot, one day, when we went to birmingham!

These are the filmers!! Four filmers for one epic trick! which I am not going to post a picture of!! Got to keep you wondering about something..right? All I have to say is it was Kyle and it was FIRST TRY!!

Douglas Bubbletrousers here again,

This is the second installment of my photos from our trip to BAMA! I am going to randomly post some more photos and try to caption them the best I can. I hope you enjoy yourselves and comment about how wrecked we all look, because you know we tried our hardest!


This is our first lunch break on our trip, we stopped in louisville Erik got a trick which I already posted a photo of, Kyle sacked trying to boardslide up the rail at the park (which I have no photo of) but he tells us he got some scabs on his nuts from it, had him walking pretty funny for a bit, then we got some lunch at SUBWAY. Which is also the same place where we saw the guy sleeping sitting on the toilet, which I will post a picture of!






Kyle and T.J. did some wallrides while Erik got the gnar-ride ready to to go.


This was our first encounter with Alex on the trip, we found out that he wasn't able to skate with us, due to a *broken heel*, BUMMER, so there are not many photos of Alex.


This was the lucky waxephant of the trip, keeping us grinding and sliding all the way through our trip.





This was the first spot we went to on the trip, it's a pretty fun spot, but surprisingly T.J. is the only one to get any footage there.


Don't really know the what's up with Kyle in this picture, but I think he looks pretty wrecked (in a good way)


We had a few things we had to take care of on this trip, a picture of TRON was one of them. The first thing he said to us was "Man I gotta take a huge dump." The second thing he said was about two minutes later, "Gotta grab some reading material."


These guys all work at The Skatepark of Tuscaloosa! They are Tuscalosers!






This was our lovely waitress, whose name I can't recall, that served us at Applebee's.


This was Kyle's bed, I could only imagine how many different onion scents there were radiating from inside of that sleeping bag! But what I do know is that he was definitely the most comfortable the whole trip!

now I will leave you with a southern remedy. Apparently some worcestershire sauce is a cure for a sore throat. Alex tried it out and, as you can see by the sauce sprayed all over the mirror, he didn't like it very much at all.
