I'm typing this update on the oldest computer ever in my basement because my laptop decided to stop powering on today. What does that mean? Well, all my photos were on my laptop, so that leaves me with only text and the last two photos I uploaded to entertain you until I get it fixed. That's right, cutoffs are in in Milwaukee. One of the top three ways to beat the heat. Speaking of hip apparel, since I don't think it's been mentioned, we have new MKE shirts in. Same zebra themed design as the other ones, just fresh new colors. Buy them and spill beer on them.

Hopefully I can find something halfway decent to post sometime soon, but until then I'm sure one of the numerous other heads dedicated to keeping you up to date with the latest and greatest in Milwaukee area skateboarding news will step in... or maybe just post more pictures of me half naked. Also this would be a good/bad time to say RIP to actually one of my favorite Krooked riders Van Wastell.

According to the Matix site:
“There are some things in life you can never prepare for. I received a call from DLX’s Jim Thiebaud yesterday, his voice calm but unsteady. What he went on to tell me was seemingly unbelievable. On Friday Sept. 5th, Van Wastell fell from a Berlin hotel window to his death. This is devastating news for all of us here at Matix, as Van was our friend, our team rider and a close homie of mine. I don’t know what else to say other than we will miss the fuck out Van, he will continue his journey in mind and spirit. Our hearts goes out to the Wastell family during this time of confusion and sadness. WE ALREADY MISS YOU MUCH VAN…”

RIP VAN WASTELL and SHANE CROSS as well. This is just getting terrible.

So i went to the Fallen footwear video premiere at cream city the other night. Although impressive I'm not to hyped on where filming is going now days.

Dolly angles, slow motion HD filming, epic ass shots, kinda gets to me

Anyways, the video was pretty sick, a few things that haven't been seen like combo tricks on 17 stair rails, technical zero dudes. Crazy... Now I'm not gonna say, but make a bet with your friends about who has ender. It was a tough guess.

This is the trailer for our new Mkeskate video. Our film quality will be lifted in this video, but thats only because we are not sneaking old footage clips from 30 dollar cameras this time. It will be no fully zero'ed though.
