Schmeez Would Do Anything For Love...
Photo time!...

Kyle Herman ollies off or over something.

With all the Olympic hype these past few weeks, TJ brings men's gymnastics to the blue banks. Anyone know if this is ABD there?

Chicago's gnarliest Mike Nelson was in town about a week ago. I had hopes of getting some sort of awesome photo and just ended up with this photo of him sitting on a curb. Mission failed!

I did get this sequence however.

And I will end this with a Milwaukee skateboarding urban legend:

Mysterious blood stains appeared near Brookfield's worst skate obstacle (stupidly steep bank to flatbar) a week or two ago. Legend has it a kid died on it a while ago and his ghost will haunt you if you try to skate it. Have you seen him?

I get tons of phone calls about spots. mostly from these guys, but does it matter when things are actually going to good use? I like seeing stuff like this. Homie videos are the way to go.

Leave some nice ones guys.

Young hearts beez 3 tonight...
So I finally got around to putting up the new site Erik made probably like a half a year ago. Better late than never. I'm still working out some of the kinks and not all of the pages are working yet, but I decided to launch it now because I know you have a thirst for greater Milwaukee area skateboard news that only these weekly (or occasionally bi-weekly) updates can quench.

So this post isn't total waste, there are a couple new pictures on the photo page that you probably haven't seen before.

The start to a beautiful clip

Now, what are you suppose to do when someone comes running at you full speed?

Take it like a man. Then let the guy know how dumb he is for trying to stop someone who is heading the same direction full speed..

"And Now" Review

Frist of all, This video really impressed me right of the bat. The skating and showcasing of new talent mixed with wallrides/polljams/hippie steez. Truthfully, it's kind of a rad thing to see, after all, these dudes may have had only two or three video sections before this one.

The video line up is David Gravette, Nick Trapasso, Matt Miller, Sean Malto, Richie Jackson, and Kenny Hoyle.

All in wich are amazing in their own areas!

I believe the video starts with David Gravette. I've never had the chance to see this kid actually skate, only through mags and adds. He is sick! With his Punked out bent and raised hat brim, ramp killer steez, he tears though his part with insanely big handrails, transition skills, and one amazing trick I have never seen before for ender. This part promises to please.

To be honest, the order slips my mind, but I believe that Richie Jackson is followed. If you haven't seen him skate, your missing out. He has got to be having fun. After 3 minutes of hippie jumps, and insane things that you wouldn't think was even possible, he ends it with something that would make rodney mullen very proud... that's the only clue for this one!

Matt Miller? Have you heard of him? I haven't, but maybe its because im not a huge magazine guy and don't check these internet sites either... Anyways he's making his way into the scene, Zoo York is backing him and so is Transworld. Gotta love it.

Nick Trapasso! Shit man, this dude is nuts. Possibly one of the cleanest styles and best trick array around. Before Toy Machine's video "Suffer The Joy" I've never heard of him, but since he is climbing to the top, just open up your magazines and check one of his tricks. If you haven't got the video with the cover on it. Sick for damn sure!

Kayo Corp. Shout outs! Kenny Hoyle, yet another smooth effortless skateboarder. I've heard he only has four fingers on one hand, maybe google it or check his interview in transworld. It's the facts. Besides that, dudes part is so good, so solid and super clean. Im not sure what you think, but watching this part makes me wonder what dudes are going to be doing when "the new generation" becomes "the old generation". Freaks me out. He kills it.

The video ends with the one and only Sean Malto. Just went pro for Girl Skateboards, and made that transition well worth it. Big Rails, Big Stairs, One hell of a trick down a 15 stair. And tops Jamie Thomas for ender. Amazing.

This ones for Nate- As for the music, I personally think that they did well with fitting the right music to the right people. No main stream stuff, and you feel like you get songs stuck in your head. As far as the bands go, its hard to remember but you will enjoy!

Go Get the video, I hope reading someone elses thoughts may inspire you to make your own. Phase 2 has copies. Sky high has them, and so Does the greatest place on earth CREAM CITY!

thanks-

Switzer

Who's peeeebs?
I have no outstanding news to report, so I give you a bunch of recent pictures, and since a picture's worth a thousand words that means I am pulling most of the weight here at mkeskate, right?

TJ front blunt.

Sam bs smith.

This just looks like a normal patriotic boardslide at first but lets take a closer look...

Detail of Mickey G's rail. Another one bites the dust.

I can't remember if I posted this or not, so just to be on the safe side, here it is again. 360 shove-it.

Another day, another golden hour.

Here's another photo of our friend in Madison. While were on the topic, let's meet some more friends we have seen out and about in the past few months...

This guy won the award for must fun on a skateboard this day.

We are not sure who threw this man out, but I do remember him being very friendly for a man in a dumpster.

Stay tuned for more new content and probably a new site design in the not so distant future.

Keeping a half stiffy is a delicate balance...

First off, Skateboarding has been a huge hit for this group lately. Madison showed us spectacular times and so did this guy.

He really didn't even know i was taking a few pics of him as the people around where slowly increasing in numbers.

Risser still isn't sure about why he was making a small loop for that guys erect finger...TJ bravely stairs into the money shot.

Thought it was a good one.

Max was entertained also by the pic above him, he gave it a thumbs up.

Or was it for Justin..

The start of a long night at top shop.

Look into his eyes. When your done with that, look at this video i edited for all of you!
