"I couldn't find the gap you skate on google earth cause it was too flat"
For all of those who weren't at the Gnarbeque: shame on you. There was a pretty good turn out despite the gloomy weather. Plenty of skateboarding and food. A good time all around.

Since I don't have any photos or footage here's a clip filmed by Channing Sabir:

So here are some recent photos:

Sam kickflip fakie

Blood on your hands

TJ Nosegrind pop out

If you didn't notice the site was down for about a day in a half. What did we do during the downtime? Got to test out some new wax:
Bean wax

Darth Maul wax

Wax in a glue stick

MKE themed wax

The verdict: The Darth Maul wax was the best for grinds and slides (but the MKE wax was definitely a contender) and the bean wax was the most edible.

Gnarly grill out Saturday may 10th!

So on my down time, I've been doing everything but skating. What I like to call resting my hurt body. I've been working, editing, scavenger hunts, tattoos, etc. I have also had some time to make this video:

Be Stiff

Includes all the dudes you see around on this site, Shmeez even got some film cred in there! Also the new site design is getting put up within the weeks of may sometime, so i guess you will just find that out when you see it.

The Wheel Park is melting in the dark, all the locs are falling down...
So, top shop should be just about wrapped up by now. I don't really have any idea how any team placed. I'm sure it will be announced with much fanfare within a day or too, so check back soon (unless you are trying to maintain a 'too cool for contests' soul skater attitude, in which case you already took first place for having the most fun. Congrats.)

Recent photos:

Sam frontside big spin. I think I'm the only person that likes this spot.

Sam shifty into a bank.

I drove past dirty palms a few days ago and saw Nate filming this wall.

TJ feeble

Go check out the new STUCK mag. It has photos I shot, photos Sean Drews shot, photo's Dane Haman shot but Sean got the photo credit for for whatever reason, and much more.

Also, go to the Gnarbeque. Indulge in hot dogs for 50 cents and skateboarding for free.

Gnarbeque
Huey Crowley came up with this clever title years ago and now we are bringing it to Estabrook on May 10.

One last time.

Also check out Dave Kiehl's website.

the no budget cut and paste skate zine,
SPROINK #5, is finished and should be in skateshops all around milwaukee by the end of the week.

I'll throw this in for good measure. Drew Rickaby and I go to everyones favorite rail where he does some tricks, picks up an old cig on the ground and smokes it, texts his girlfriend, and hits a crack and eats shit. enjoy
