some of you may have heard all the allegations towards cream city skatepark and brian mcguinnes on the news or in the news paper. i am happy to say that all of that information is 100% false.
-no drugs were brought through the skatepark at all
-brian and bill spend 3 years crafting the fine skatepark called cream city into what is is today, a world known skatepark that attracts visitors from all over... why would they ruin it by doing something stupid by peddling drugs through the place? they didnt nor will the ever do it.
-cream city is completely clean and always has been. there was never anything at all going on at the skatepark

i hope bill separates himself from this and goes on with his life. bill is a cool cat and shouldnt be held responsible for his friends' decisions.

yeah i hope for the best for bill... hes done alot for every local at the park... hopefully he can take care of what he wanted to do (at least what i heard he wanted to do) and get on with his life.

theres some cases where the biggest crimes get away scot-free

Regardless of what ends up happening over the next few years, this bad publicity will probably kill the park. Years of good publicity is no match for one damaging story.

I know the adult/hardcore/underground skaters will keep going there, but the bulk of their business is probably kids. Those kids have parents that read the paper and watch the news. They won't bring their kids to a place that may or may not be run by drug dealers.

I'm sure any amount of lost business will deliver a blow to the park's bottom line and make it a challenge to remain open for long.

i would have to say i dont think thats true... i went to the park on monday and i saw a lot of kids there... and the locals are still going there because their parents have gotten to know the owners and they know they wont become a bad influence on their kids...

i myself have known about the bust since day one because my aunt used to work for the company that they rent the building from and she told me what happened and my mom knew to and she still let me go, and when she found out it was 50 pounds a week (which seems highly unlikely) she still let me go back... so i think business will stay the same
